He was Executive Director of Fundaci\u00f3n Vida Silvestre Argentina, associated with WWF in Argentina (2008-2015).

He was Secretary of Climate Change and Sustainable Development of Argentina (2015-2019). He created and coordinated the National Cabinet of Climate Change, was Chair of the G20 Climate Sustainability Working Group under the Argentine Presidency and he was also Chair of the Global Board of the 10-Year Framework of Programs on Sustainable Consumption and Production (10YFP).
He created and coordinated the \u201cEscuelas Verdes\u201d Environmental Education Program at the Ministry of Education of the City of Buenos Aires and directed the Renewable Energy area of the Fundaci\u00f3n Pensar.
He was part of the Sustainability Leader Program of Defra (UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs).
He was a consultant to the Argentine Foundation of Animal Welfare.
He was Head of the Agricultural and Livestock Commission and advisor to many Commissions at the Argentina House of Representatives for more than 20 years and he is currently an advisor to the Argentine Senate.

He has experience in environment law, management and policy. He is a consultant for international agencies such as the World Bank and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). He was the National Director of Forests, Territorial Planning and Soils of the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development of Argentina where he, along others, coordinated the creation and implementation of the National Plan for the Restoration of Native Forests in Argentina which involved the restoration of more than 35,000 hectares of forests and 4 million trees planted. There he also coordinated the development of Argentina’s National Action Plan for Forests and Climate Change. Before that, he was an environmental specialist for the World Bank Office for Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay for projects on integrated management and environmental sanitation of water basins, integrated management of urban solid waste and sustainable industrial development.
